The SSAFA Community Health Care Team are promoting ICON week ("Babies cry; you can cope"), helping Armed Forces parents learn to handle crying babies and children in a positive manner.
This year, at the Chalke Valley History Festival, SSAFA was brought to the attention of a passionate crowd of history enthusiasts and scholars, thanks to General Sir Richard Shirreff and SSAFA CEO Sir Andrew Gregory.
At this year's Royal Highland Show, volunteers and staff from SSAFA Scotland pitched camp, and did a fantastic job raising awareness about the work we do across the Armed Forces community.
This Armed Forces day SSAFA partner Sodexo took part in our 13 Bridges walk, both in London, and virtually across the UK, raising almost £3,000 in vital funding for our work with the Armed Forces community.
